On The Road: The crew invited Peter Bjorn and John to perform a couple of songs outside the back entrance of the Granada Theater in Dallas before their show last week. Peter and John met us out back, sans Bjorn.

On The Road: Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith took some time before the band’s show at the Granada Theater a few weeks ago to play a song on the back patio of J. Pepe’s on Greenville Avenue.

On the Road: KXT’s crew met up with the great Brett Dennen a few hours before his show at the Granada Theater May 7, 2011. Dennen played the song “Make You Fall in Love with Me” – off his latest album Loverboy – in the alleyway adjacent to the theater.

On the Road: South by Southwest is over, but the On the Road video series isn’t. KXT caught up with Joe Pug the afternoon before his show at The Loft in Dallas. Joe braved an already hot sun to play his soulful tune “How Good You Are” on the balcony of the venue, with the Dallas skyline in the background.

Born and raised in Dallas and Coppell, Texas, Emily Elbert has already made a significant impression within the music industry at the ripe old age of 22.

On The Road: Cas Haley singing on a pedicab during SXSW? Of course! Cruising through an Austin neighborhood, Cas sings “Will I Find” off his album “Connection.”
