KXT is proud to support #AAPI artists year round – including this May as part of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Every week we'll be highlighting an artist whose music we can't stop listening to. 🔁

This week we turn up the volume to Dallas' @larrygeemusic and his 2019 release, "Central Valley" featuring @thesamlao. Larry Gee's influences are deeply rooted in the 1960s-era classic soul acts. Artists such as #CurtisMayfield, #SlyAndTheFamilyStone and #JamesBrown have induced his rich soulful voice. He also draws inspiration from modern-day artists like #GnarlsBarkley to #CharlesBradley.
