On The Road: Kelly Upshaw, frontman for the Denton band The Hope Trust, met up with us late morning on the first day of the 35 Conferette in Denton, Texas. Kelly performed “Drive to the Ocean” off the band’s latest release Light Can’t Escape.

“On The Road” is a new series for KXT and Art&Seek. Kelly Upshaw, frontman for The Hope Trust, agreed to go first. Filming took place March 10 on the square in Denton. The results: pretty darn cool.
