Terri Hendrix & Lloyd Maines
Hailing from San Marcos, Texas, Terri Hendrix released her twelfth record, Cry Till You Laugh, earlier this year, singing about life’s troubles with such a sweet voice that makes you almost forget them. Album producer Lloyd Maines (dad of Natalie, lead singer of the Dixie Chicks) accompanies Hendrix, playing several instruments, including acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, pedal steel and banjo. Both Hendrix and Maines stopped by the studio Friday, July 30, to play a few songs during the KXT Afternoon Show with Joe Kozera.
