Everything you need to know before Homegrown Fest 5

Homegrown5Homegrown Fest returns for its fifth year tomorrow in downtown Dallas. The action begins at 11 a.m. at the beautiful Main Street Garden Park.

Here’s what you need to know about the fest:

Are tickets still available?

Yes, you can purchase general admission tickets for $20 or VIP passes for $75, which include access to the VIP Lounge with a cash bar, casual seating, upgraded bathrooms, drink tickets and a swag bag.

Toadies headline the festival Saturday night at 9:30. Local favorite Sarah Jaffe performs at 7:20, and you don’t want to miss Seryn at 5:45 or Baptist Generals at 3:45. See the full lineup and schedule here.

What else will be there?

There are about 30 art, clothing and food vendors slated to be at the fest, including Dowdy Studio, Tiff’s Treats, Eco Amoire and many more.

Where can I park?

The suggested parking is the lot at Elm & Harwood, one block north of the fest. Transit Bikes will run a free bike valet if you decide to take the green route.

What should I bring?

Bring a blanket but leave backpacks, chairs, coolers and professional cameras at home. You can bring a dog as long as it’s on a leash.
