Good news, folks. 35 Denton is just around the corner…
… and we mean that both literally and figuratively. This local, Denton-based music festival is back for its seventh year this March, offering up an eclectic mix of new artists, legendary performers and a healthy amount of local North Texas musicians.
So here’s the 411 on all things 35:
What is it?
A three-day, walkable music festival programmed in the burgeoning arts corridor in downtown Denton, TX.
Where is this “burgeoning arts corridor?”
Here’s a map.
When is it?
Friday, March 11- Sunday, March 13
This year’s lineup includes Eliot Sumner, Fat Tony, Tacocat, White Reaper, Sheer Mag, Purple, Brothertiger, What Moon Things, Dixie Witch, Mothers, Mydolls , Well Hung Heart, The Birds of Night, Jessie Frye, Shiny Around the Edges, Daniel Markham, Pearl Earl, Bad Beats, GOLDENJOY, Hella Zealous and Wiving. And there’s even more to come.
How do I get tickets?
Will anyone from KXT be there?
Funny you should ask — KXT Program Director Amy Miller will be taking part in a panel discussion on Saturday, March 12 about how local artists can up their booking game. Stay tuned for a specific time and location!
And be sure to stop by and say hello at the KXT table where — as always — we’ll have KXT news, swag and smiles to give away freely.
I have more questions…
See you there, North Texas!
