Concerts this week in North Texas

For 6 years we’ve had the pleasure of bringing you the best in new, local and legendary music. THANK YOU for your support, your input and — most importantly — your eager ears.

Speaking of eager ears, here are the shows happening around the North Texas music scene this week that we think you might want to know about:

Thursday, November 19

We’ll be celebrating our 6th with a special performance by Houndmouth tonight at Granada Theater. We wish, we WISH, everyone and their dog could be there to join us. But it seems this one’s sold out, folks. Here’s a little sampling of what these lovely Indiana folk-rockers can bring to the table:

(FYI – We’ll be posting Houndmouth’s fantastic KXT Live Session to the blog and on VuHaus in the coming days. Keep your eyes peeled.)

 Friday, November 20

Metric is swinging through Dallas with a stop at The Bomb Factory this Friday. The Canadian alt-rockers released their new album Pagans in Vegas in September. It’s the band’s sixth full-length album, and the follow-up to their 2012 release Synthetica, which won a Juno in Canada for best alternative album of the year. As for this show, the words “not-to-be-missed” come across our minds.

Monday, November 23

You can extend your weekend vibes a little bit longer with a performance by James Bay at House of Blues on Monday. The English singer-songwriter’s latest release, Chaos and the Calm, has already racked up hundreds of millions of streams on Spotify. But, why stream when you can see him live?

Happy concerting!
