Concerts This Week in North Texas

We hope you’ve rested well since we last saw you at Summer Cut, because you’re going to need all the concert-energy you can muster this coming week. It’s a packed one, folks. Here’s the scoop:

Sunday, September 6

Indie-rockers Of Montreal take the stage at Shipping & Receiving Bar tonight in Fort Worth. This Atlanta crew has been known to deliver over-the-top, immersive, “first few rows get wet” experiences at their shows. And now with 13 albums under their belt, this band is sure to deliver one stellar performance.

Tickets to see Of Montreal on Sunday can be found HERE.

Friday, September 11

After surviving a harrowing bus crash that left George Lewis Jr. and several of his crew members severely injured, Twin Shadow is back in the touring saddle again. He’ll swing through Dallas this Friday with a stop at South Side Music Hall…and the KXT studio.

Keep a lookout on our Facebook and Twitter pages for that KXT Live Session. In the meantime, grab your tickets for the South Side show HERE.

Friday, September 11

After releasing his fourth studio LP this summer, Sweedish songwriter Kristian Matsson – a.k.a The Tallest Man on Earth – simultaneously announced a batch of U.S. tour dates. To our delight, Dallas made the cut.

Tickets to see The Tallest Man on Earth at House of Blues Dallas can be found HERE.

Friday, September 11 – Saturday, September 12

Fort Worth’s favorite foursome is back, and in more ways than one. Not only will the The Toadies bring their annual music festival Dia De Los Toadies to Panther Island Pavilion this weekend, but on Friday the band will also throw the release party for their upcoming album Heretics.

Other festival performers include Sarah Jaffe, Burden Brothers, Local H, Holy Moly, Buck Pets, Sealion, Son of Stan and GollaySnag your tickets to Dia de los Toadies HERE.

Happy concerting, North Texas!
