With Summer Cut just over three weeks away, we’re taking a closer look at some of the artists performing at this year’s festival.
First up, The Hold Steady.
Maybe we’re biased because they recently stopped by the KXT studios to perform a few tracks from their latest album, Teeth Dreams, but we can’t wait to see these guys light up the stage at Gexa.
Take a look below at some notable performances from their 10-year tenure as indie-rock mainstays.
1. “I Hope This Whole Thing Didn’t Frighten You” – Conan, July 22, 2014
2. “Spinners (Acoustic)” – KXT Live Session, April 30, 2014
3.”Chips Ahoy!” – Later… with Jools Holland, May 4, 2007
4. “Your Little Hoodrat Friend” – Live From the Artists Den, March 8, 2009
5. “Stay Positive” – Pitchfork Music Festival, July 19, 2008
