From our pal John Lefler: On Saturday, August 10th at 7:30pm, Opening Bell Coffee will be dedicating a night of music to some of the most beloved, yet relatively forgotten artists of the 1970’s. Some of Dallas’ finest musicians will be tackling the likes of Firefall, King Harvest, Bread, Christopher Cross, Jim Croce, and many more. We’re confident you’ll know and love every song played, even if you can’t remember the artist’s name. Performers include: John Lefler, Camille Cortinas, Mike Finkell, Eric Neal, Josh Hammond, and Matt Trimble, along with guest singers John Kenny, David McMahon, and Michelle Sanguinetti. Attendees are encouraged (though not required) to come dressed in your favorite ’70’s duds. Come celebrate Summer with some soft sounds of smooth Seventies rock. $10 suggested donation is greatly appreciated. RSVP on Facebook.
