Local talent joins forces for human rights benefit concert

Dallas singer-songwriter, producer, all-around nice cat and KXT artist/supporter Salim Nourallah is teaming up with Doug O’Rourke, Luke Rainwater, Gabrielle LaPlante and Dallas’ very own spaghetti Western-noir outfit Monco Poncho for a night of stellar tunes and fundraising for the Human Rights Initiative of North TexasSons of Hermann in Deep Ellum plays host to the event, happening this Saturday at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door.

HRI is helmed by the amazing KERA commentator, avid local music supporter and D Mag’s Law Man Walking, Bill Holston.  HRI offers free legal services for victims of human rights abuses, including victims of trafficking, and indigent immigrant women and young victims of domestic and violent crimes.  Great music and a great cause – what’s not to love and support?
