It’s been nine months since rising country star It’s been nine months since rising country star @joshuaraywalker was diagnosed with Stage 3B colon cancer, which threw his career into slight disarray, forcing him to spend the year enduring surgery and chemotherapy. During his sixth show at the Kessler Theater on Monday night, the singer-songwriter revealed his cancer has spread to both of his lungs. Dallas singer-songwriter @thomascsorbamusic had a Dallas singer-songwriter @thomascsorbamusic had a lot of life from which to draw inspiration for “Windchimes,” his third studio album. “I wrote this record during COVID, and as I was getting married, as I was finding out we were pregnant and getting ready to start a family,” Csorba told KXT contributor Preston Jones in February 2023. “So, a lot of the songs revolve around really like — I don’t mean this as boastful or anything, but it’s a pretty wholesome record, you know?” The musician cut the record live in Fort Worth with producers Robert Ellis and Josh Block, and will celebrate it Saturday, September 7 at the Kessler Theater. 🔗 Full story at the link in bio. 📸 Missing Piece Group
