Justin Townes Earle

Justin Townes Earle, son of musician Steve Earle and the namesake of Townes Van Zandt, is no stranger to the troubled times he sings about in his songs. The singer-songwriter struggled with drug addiction most of his life, but ultimately kicked the habit and put his life back in order. His blend of folk, blues, and country has an old-fashioned feel to it. He released his third album, Harlem River Blues, earlier this year and stopped by the KXT studios to play a few songs during the KXT Afternoon Show.
