On The Road: After driving all night from their Dallas gig to South by Southwest in Austin, the band members of Middle Brother performed a beautiful, acoustic version of their song “Million Dollar Bill” off their eponymous debut album.

San Diego band Delta Spirit formed in 2005 and released their debut EP, I Think I’ve Found It, in 2006. The band decided to self-produce and record their debut full-length album, Ode to Sunshine, in a a cabin in the San Diego mountains. Their second album, History From Below, was released June 2010.

Delta Spirit – “Bushwick Blues” This new track, from Delta Spirit’s upcoming History From Below, reminds us why we liked their debut Ode to Sunshine so much. Their unique way of uniting rock, soul, and Americana is evident in this track’s chugging rhythm and impassioned vocals.
