Get Loud with KXT

KXT is thrilled to announce its first-ever Get Loud with KXT concert, presented by Texas Counter Fitters!
This year, as part of our annual Local Music Month, we are celebrating our North Texas music scene bigger and louder than ever on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Klyde Warren Park. Catch musical performances from North Texas musicians Luna Luna and Joshua Ray Walker under the Dallas skyline.

This show is free and open to the public, but we recommend RSVP’ing below to get updates leading up to the event:

ABOUT JOSHUA RAY WALKER

Once the best-kept secret of Dallas’ music scene, Joshua Ray Walker catapulted himself into the international spotlight with his 2019 debut, Wish You Were Here. An album of character-driven songwriting and golden-era Texas twang, Wish You Were Here did not just nod to the larger-than-life troubadours who had inspired Walker’s craft — it brought him into their ranks, too, adding Walker’s name to the shortlist of songwriters worthy of carrying the torches of Guy Clark, John Prine and Blaze Foley.

ABOUT LUNA LUNA

Originally the sole project of Colombian born, Dallas bred Kavvi, Luna Luna grew into a four-piece through serendipitous meetings. With the release of their shimmering debut EP, For Lovers Only, Luna Luna combined the innocence of teenage love with dreamy retro synthpop and gave us slow-burning indie pop hits like “80s Tune” and “For You.”
