About Joe Kozera
Joe Kozera is in the KXT studios weekdays for five hours of music during the Afternoon and Evening shows.
Joe has worked in radio in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since 2004. Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, he was nine years old when he wrote a letter to his favorite radio station, AM 720 KDWN in downtown Las Vegas. When he was invited to be on air to meet the KDWN personalities, tour the station and learn about live radio, he was hooked.
Joe has been a DJ at KBOC 98.3 in Bridgeport, a mom-and-pop classic country station. Later, he did a live Sunday morning show at 89.5 KYQX-FM in Weatherford.
At KERA-FM, Joe has worked as a board operator, announcer, operations assistant, production coordinator and co-producer.
Joe writes and records original music, some of which can be heard on KERA-FM. He lives in Dallas with his wife Christine and their son Antonio.
