For World Cafe’s Sense of Place visit to Sydney, the lead singer and bassist for Australian psychedelic rockers The Church, Steve Kilbey, joins David Dye for a hilarious and wide ranging conversation about his career. And from outside Sydney in the Blue Mountains, indie-pop artist Julia Jacklin debuts her first album, Don’t Let the Kids Win, with angelic lyrics that keeps you wanting more.

After nearly 15 years serving as a minister in the Australian government, he’s released his solo debut called A Version of Now.
