Monday, April 18

The special week-long series, Sense of Place, returns today, focused on Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The series kicks off with a session from Durham alt-country rockers, Mount Moriah.

Today’s episode also features a Vintage Cafe session from 1997, the first time we met Ryan Adams when Whiskeytown joined David Dye in studio.

Tuesday, April 19

The special series, Sense of Place, continues in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, North Carolina, featuring a session from one of the most prolific songwriters in his native state, David Childers.

Wednesday, April 20

Sense of Place continues with an interview with Mac MacCaughan and Laura Balance, who founded Merge Records together.

Thursday, April 21

Friday, April 22

Sense of Place concludes today with sessions from the hip-hop musician and poet, Shirlette Ammons.
