The upside to having a monster hit is that you gain a new audience that you can continue to impress. Though the spotlight has gone elsewhere since their single “Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm”, from 1993’s God Shuffled His Feet, Brad Roberts and company continued to put out great records of folk-influenced alternative rock, with Give Yourself a Hand and A Worm’s Life, before taking a break in 2006. They returned in May with Ooh La La, which features this track, where Roberts distinctive baritone voice has never been finer.
